Our team played an entertaining match against Toga on Saturday. Despite being so short-handed that debutant Thomas Nunan had to step in as goalkeeper, we controlled much of the game and jumped out to a 2–0 lead thanks to goals from Bo Wyminga and Aiden Bertoli. Toga pulled one back before halftime and equalized just minutes into the second half.
Berlin found its rhythm again shortly after and regained the lead through Alex Babol and Santi Almada. But once more, the opposition showed plenty of fight, scoring twice unanswered to make it 4–4.
Wyminga netted his second of the night to put Berlin ahead with just two minutes remaining, but the home side earned a penalty in the final seconds and converted to secure a draw. That scoreline held until the final whistle.
Player of the Match honors went to Thomas Nunan, who impressed in his improvised role between the posts.
