Santiago Almada is an Argentinean born Canadian soccer player from Kitchener, Ontario. He played on the Waterloo rep team from the age of 8 to the age of 18, before accepting a full ride scholarship to Cleary University in the NAIA.
Throughout his career, Santiago has succeeded in playing in various divisions ranging from OYSL, PISL, and U21 Provincial Elite. Coming out of high school, Santiago had various scholarship opportunities to choose from, and his expertise extends to four years of varsity NAIA athletics at Cleary University.
Santiago has won various awards like the 2013 Anne Oberholtzer award at Waterloo Minor Soccer Club, the 2015 Cleary University Alumni award, and was a three-time USCAA Academic All-American. He graduated from Cleary University in May 2017 with a 3.9 GPA and a Bachelor of Business Administration. His skills include personal training, education training, 1 on 1 skills training and player developments. One of his areas of expertise is analyzing and understanding statistics and tactics.
