Greg Margolis takes over as the Head Coach of FC Berlin coming off his third season at the helm of the Buffalo State women's soccer program in 2023, leading the Bengals to their best overall record and first winning season since the 2016 season. He has compiled an overall record of 16-28-7 in three seasons in charge. Margolis's Bengals got off to the best start in program history in 2023, with a 5-0-1 record through the first six games. The squad scored 39 goals for an average of 2.29 goals per game, the most since the 2005 season. Defensively, Buffalo State posted seven shutouts, the most in a season since 2016.

Before joining Buffalo State, Margolis has stops as the Head Men’s and Women’s Coach at Elmira College, assistant coach at Williams College, Allegheny College, Methodist University and Springfield College. At Williams, he helped the Ephs reach the 2019 NCAA Quarterfinals and obtain a national year-end ranking of No. 13. He also coached the NESCAC Player of the Year and a pair of United Soccer Coaches All-Americans. With the men’s program at Springfield College as an assistant coach from 2012-16, Greg helped the team capture the 2016 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) title, as well as a pair of ECAC New England Regional championships.
