Today marks a historic moment for FC Berlin.
After just one season in the Major Arena Soccer League Women, we step onto the national stage for the very first time, competing among the Top 8 teams in North America at the MASL-W Nationals in Detroit.
Our opponent: Dallas RPFC
Kickoff: 4:00 PM EDT
How to watch: DCFC's YouTube
This journey started long before this week. From our roots as a small, community-driven club founded in 2017, to building a pathway for players to grow, compete, and belong, this moment is a reflection of years of belief, sacrifice, and relentless work.
Led by the vision of Gabriel Almada and Santiago Almada, FC Berlin has always been about more than results; it is about creating opportunities, representing our community, and proving that passion and purpose can take you to the highest levels of the game.
In our debut MASL-W season, we earned our place here, finishing among the league’s best and qualifying for Nationals with an outstanding campaign.
Now, we face a new challenge.
We arrive with a reduced roster.
We are the underdogs.
But expectations within our group have never been higher.
Because this team does not measure itself by odds; we measure ourselves by heart. At 4:00 PM, we step on the pitch with one promise: To leave everything we have out there.
For our club.
For our players.
For our community.
This is FC Berlin. And this is just the beginning.
