FC Berlin could not extend their positive streak and lost 1-2 to division leaders Wentworth FC in an attractive game at Bishop Tonnos Secondary School on Thursday evening. After a first half in which the visiting team was in command, leading 2-1 through goals scored by Derek Proulx (Freddy Gudmundsson provided the temporary equalizer for our team), Berlin pushed hard in the second half but paid a high price for the lack of a finishing touch.

Berlin, now with a 3-2-5 record, will play again on July 16th, when they host Rockton Blazers at Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School
