It wasn't a good Saturday evening for FC Berlin, at least not this first out of two games they played that day. It was a physical game, which fit Stoga's style of play better. The first half ended 4-2 for the away team, with Alex Babol having scored both Berlin goals. The fact that there were two yellow card issues in that first half (one per team) speaks about the intensity with which this match was played.
Stoga scored soon after the second period started, and with a 5-2 lead, everybody thought they had the game under control. However, Berlin came back big time, with three goals in as many minutes (2 by Jacobo Cordon and one by Aiden Bertoli). Conestoga scored again, going up 6-but Bertoli tied it once again!
The last few minutes saw both teams fighting hard for the win. A couple of quick counters by Stoga were translated into two goals, and that sealed the deal for the away team.
