Some massive results for our teams this week...

This week saw our U14 boys, U16 boys and girls, and the boys and girls U19 programs on the field.

First, the U19 boys took a convincing 8-2 win on Thursday in Grand River Soccer action. Philopater Milio scored four goals that game and led the team to its first win of the week.

The next day, the U19 boys were invited to the University of Windsor to participate in a campus visit day with a culminating game vs. the University of Windsor Lancers. Early on in the game, Andrew Ribeiro set up Daniel Wlodek to make it 1-0 Berlin early on. Then, Thomas Rumble provided a pair of assists first setting up Quinton Jackson then Jesse Zuzan to give us a 3-0 lead at half. Full time came, and we got the result winning 3-1 at full time.

The next day, it was futsal time on Saturday. First, in the morning, the 2004/2005 team played against KW Serbia and won 7-2. The U16 team then went on to lose 8-1 to Spirit Revival and the last game was the U19 boys who won 8-5 against Cumbia Kings.

The U16 girls played on Sunday morning. Their first game resulted in their first ever win! The girls lined up against LS Croatia and won 4-3 and they then lost to Waterloo 5-1, after being tied at half. Still, nothing to be ashamed about, some excellent results from a brand new look team.

The last game of the week was the Berlin U19 girls playing in GRSL action. They played against the KDSL Champion Banat Ladies team and lost a narrow game 3-2, in the last minute. Goals by Lauren Thomson and Amelia Arciszewski.
