Kitchener, Ontario - FC Berlin is proud to announce its team lineup for the 2023 season. The club will be fielding five teams this season, including the men's first team, women's first team, women's second team, and two reserve teams.

Santiago Almada will be leading the FC Berlin UWS women's first team as well as working with the UPSL Men. Jamie Ward, who will be coaching the FC Berlin UPSL men's first team as well as the assisting on the FC Berlin UWS team. Both coaches bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective teams and are highly respected within the soccer community. Sabrina Delic, Aidan Nolan, and Gabriel Almada will serve as essential support staff to the first teams.

The FC Berlin UPSL team will feature some of the best young talent from the Waterloo Region and beyond, as well as a few seasoned Berlin veterans who bring leadership and experience to the squad. These players have showcased their skills and passion for the game in the past two seasons and are ready to take the field once again. The boys are looking to build off a 2022 season that saw them make their first ever playoff appearance against Syracuse FC last summer.

The FC Berlin UWS women's first team is equally impressive, featuring a talented roster of players from Canada and the United States. After an exciting debut season that featured thrilling games against the likes of FC Buffalo, Erie Commodores, and Rochester Lancers, the ladies are looking to build on their experience and fight for a playoff spot. The team is motivated and eager to showcase their skills on the field.

In addition to the first teams, FC Berlin will also be fielding a UWS League 2 women's second team, a U23 reserve team for men, and a U19 reserve team for men. These teams will give up-and-coming players the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop their skills as they work towards the first team.

"We have assembled a talented and experienced group of coaches and players, and we believe our teams have the potential to be very successful this season.
