The debut of our Berlin Academy XI Girls team in front of their friends and family was a success. The girls fought hard against a very tough Kitchener U17 Girls squad, and after a 1-0 score at halftime (goal by Thalia Cruz), were able to add three more goals in the second half (by Kayla Ambrose, Siena Melo-Da Silva and finally Haley MacArthur who tapped in a shot by Brooklyn Silveira that was bouncing on the goal line after an incredible save by the visiting goalkeeper).

It was a very solid debut at home for our young ladies, as they get ready for their debut in the Ontario Women's Soccer League, where they will be competing in the Central Region Under 21 division.
