Our boys looked impressive on their first ever official home game

It was an uninviting evening, with single-digit temperatures and a strong wind. Still, a very nice crowd got together to watch our homecoming games, and they did not leave disappointed. After our girls beat Kitchener U17 Girls 4-0, it was time for our boys to make their presentation in front of their family, friends and supporters.

Berlin FA took the lead in the first half, thanks to Nick Miszczyk, who scored a nice goal following an individual effort. Our young men were able to extend the lead during the last few minutes of the game, again by Miszczyk (who was the player of the game). Just a minute or two later, our 15-year-old call-up Emmanuel Moyano established the final score with an incredible shot from outside the box. You gotta watch the video!

All in all, it was a very successful evening for our showcase teams. Our U19 Boys are now getting ready for their debut in the Ontario Soccer League, where they will be participating this summer, playing in the U21 Regional South division.
