It's time for the latest addition to our club to hit the pitch!

We have already mentioned that this season is seen as a 'rebirth' for FC Berlin. New focus, new management, new coaching staff... and now a brand new team!! We will have a senior squad competing in the Hamilton Men’s Inter-Church Soccer League (HMICSL), a competitive league that features teams from the Hamilton and Burlington areas.

This team is led by a coaching staff that features Chris Riedel as Head Coach and Edgar Oliva as Assistant Coach. With a roster of about 20 players ages 17 and above, FC Berlin Hamilton is ready to start the 2024 Spring Season tonight, when they host Brant Co FC at St Mary's Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton.

This is a new squad composed of players coming from all different places, as well as a few returning players like Jonas Vieira, Fridrik Gudmundson and Michael Riedel to name some. They had a pre-season game last week, a 1-3 losing effort to Rockton Blazers that could have gone very differently should they have scored a PK they were granted in the first five minutes of the match. Coaches and players left the game satisfied nevertheless, as they all saw glimpses of what promises to be an exciting spring/summer season!

As mentioned, tonight's game will be played at St. Mary's Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton, and it will start at 7:00 PM, followed by Hamilton Thunder vs Wentworth FC at 9:00 PM.
